Dr Vjera Magdalenic-Moussavi

Director of Industry Partnerships and Commercialisation, Medicine

At the heart Vjera’s expertise is 20+ years of innovation and translation of biomedical research spanning academia, SMEs, UK and EU governments and international corporates.She has a passion for building bespoke partnerships and successful programmes to deliver novel results and create real-world impact of healthcare innovation. Vjera’s particular interest is entrepreneural education of emerging scientific leaders on both curricular and extracurricular level and she leads and teaches on a number of programmes across the College.

Vjera joined Enterprise at Imperial in 2013 to head up Corporate Partnerships in Medicine. Prior roles include innovation consulting, CBO at Lux Innovate and Assure and research in lung Immunology in Edinburgh and at King’s College London.

Vjera holds a PhD in Immunlogy from Edinburgh and BEng in Molecular Biology from University of Zagreb.
